Pop-pop Keisen's fudge
Ingredients
- 2/3 c cocoa
- 3 c sugar
- 1 ½ c whole milk
- Dash salt
- 4 Tbsp butter (½ stick or ¼ c)
- 3 large Tbsp peanut butter (rounded)
- 1 tsp vanilla
Method
Watch so it doesn’t boil over!
Use whole milk and real butter for creamier
It’s approx.. 1 hr. 25 min to cook
Fudge –
2/3 c cocoa
3 c sugar
1 ½ c whole milk
Dash salt
Cook till soft ball forms between fingers (in cold water).
Take off stove.
Add:
4 Tbsp butter (½ stick or ¼ c)
3 large Tbsp peanut butter (rounded)
1 tsp vanilla
Let stand till cooled a little while (to lukewarm).
Beat till stiffening.
Pour into 9X9 greased (with butter) pan.

Measure sugar into pot

Measure cocoa into pot

Measure 1 c milk into pot, stir until wet.

Measure ½ c milk into pot.

Turn on high until hear noise, then turn 2 notches down and stir.

Stir after boil breaks surface. Watch out! It rises rapidly. When it gets close to the top of pot, turn to low boil.

Done
-
At point of being done, slightly stir peanut butter and etc.

Don’t start stirring until you can safely touch outside of pot.
