Here's Uncle Tom's recipe. He wonders where you'll get the "LONG" or TOP" necked clams out there. He says any others will not be acceptable! Also, don't use "chowder" clams. He gave no amounts. He said you'll have to estimate!
Cut clams out of shells. Lay one clam in a shell half, discard the
other half shell. Put on cookie tray.
Cut up cheese and bacon so one piece of each will cover the top of the clam.
Dice pepper and onion, then saute in butter. Put about 1/2 tsp. on each clam.
Lay cheese on the clam, then bacon.
Broil till bacon is cooked. ENJOY!
