Ruth Romansky's Quick pancakes and waffles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 capfull of almond essence

Method

makes

single 4-5 waffles

double 8-9 waffles

method:

mix all ingredients together in a pourable jug.

waffles:

pour into center of waffle maker till waffle iron is 2/3 full. close and cook until golden

pancakes:

pour into pan/griddle until desired size reached. Cook until mostly covered with bubbles. flip then cook for a couple of minutes
